About the
Conference
Aspiration 6 of the African Union Agenda 2063 envisages an Africa whose development is people-driven, relying on the potential of African people — especially its women and youth. ATC's Diaspora initiatives are anchored upon that aspiration, harnessing the vast untapped resources of Africa's "6th Region" to fast-track the Africa We Want.
ATC engages with the African Union, Member States, Regional Economic Communities, and International Multilateral Institutions to facilitate meaningful participation of the African Diaspora in the economic development of their home countries — and the subsequent roll-out of Diaspora social project initiatives across the continent.
